The Citation XLS is technically a mid-sized jet with a cabin length of 18.7 feet and a range of 1,961 miles (1,704 nautical miles); however, it has performance characteristics more akin to light private jets, such as its ability to take off at 3,500 feet and reach cruise altitude in less than 18 minutes. The XLS has exceptional handling abilities, dependable systems, and continuous delivery of smooth, rapid flights. The Citation XLS is an improved version that outperforms its predecessor in both speed and range. The triple-sealed entry door and triple-pane windows of the 5.7 feet tall interior of the XLS allow for a peaceful and draft-free cabin that can accommodate nine passengers. Flying is made more pleasant by features like fold-out tables, sliding headrests, and seats that are two to four inches wider than prior models. Standard equipment includes a couch that meets takeoff and landing safety standards. Installing indirect LED lighting makes the cabin feel larger and more natural, and it also has the advantages of generating less heat and lasting longer. 80 cubic feet of storage space are available in an external compartment, and a small amount more can be found in an inside closet. This private aircraft can cruise at 428 ktas and reach its flight level of 43,000 feet in just 25 minutes—48 minutes faster than the Excel. With four passengers, the XLS can go 1,941 miles (1,687 nautical miles). It has the shortest takeoff distance of any midsized jet and can take off from runways as small as 3,500 feet.
